Recipe Ingredients

Ingredient Weight
Pillsbury™ Donut Mix 1 kg
Water 300-350 g
Fresh Yeast 50 g / Dry yeast 16 g / Compressed Yeast 28 g
Refined oil/butter 100 g
Oil for frying 300 g
Eggs 175 g


  1. Add the Pillsbury™ Donut Mix, yeast, eggs, oil and water to a mixing bowl
  2. Add the premix, yeast, eggs, oil and water to a mixing bowl
  3. Then, mix for 8 more minutes on Speed 2 and form a dough
  4. Cover the dough and rest it for 10 minutes
  5. On a clean floured table, sheet the dough to 0.5cm/5mm thickness
  6. Cut the dough sheet with greased and floured donut cutter
  7. Now, place the cut donuts on a greased and floured dusted tray
  8. Proof for 40 to 60 minutes at 35°C and 85% RH
  9. Fry as per instructions
  10. Cool completely
  11. Garnish as required
